Maria Wentz, LPCC
I will partner with you as we dig into patterns and problems to help get to the root of your concerns. Through this process, you will gain insights and learn how to get unstuck, leading to healing and growth.
Anxiety, grief and loss, pregnancy/postpartum, trauma, OCD, depression, stress overload, self-esteem, and coping with life transitions...these are the issues that I love exploring with clients. My style is to listen intently and form strong collaborative connections. My clients have described me as “warm and caring.”
You are a unique, whole person who deserves more than a one-size-fits-all approach. I have an integrated therapy approach that weaves in multiple psychological theories, including Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and mind/body-based practices. I am also certified in EMDR. Together, you and I will tailor an individual action plan that best fits your needs.
Finding the right counselor can feel daunting. To help you find your best fit, I offer one free 20 minute phone consultation to give you a sense of my energy and therapy style. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about who I am as a therapist or to schedule your initial consultation.
