How do the video sessions work?
To better make counseling services available to those who need them, we began to offer online counseling. These sessions will be very similar to the in-person counseling we offer. Using the eVisit platform, you will talk to your counselor in Akron, Ohio via a face-to-face video chat similar to Skype or other video conferencing platforms. You will experience the same benefits of in-person counseling with the added benefit of receiving these services in the comfort of your own home. You no longer have to worry about traffic or waiting rooms. Instead, we are happy to offer online counseling services to deliver you quality service where you are most comfortable.
Are the video therapy sessions you offer secure?
Yes, we utilize the eVisit platform which is secure, safe, and HIPAA compliant. Once on the site, you will be prompted to create a username and password and set up a personal profile. eVisit also offers a scheduling tool, making it easier than ever to book your online therapy session.
